Of Body, Spirit and Water

A new exhibit called "Of Body, Spirit, and Water: Early African American Healers," is opening today in a new venue at the Sunrise Mansion, which has also moved to a new location. The exhibit examines healers and practitioners of tribal Native American and early African American (Hoodoo) medicine that were precursors to modern natural herbal and holistic healing so popular today. At the new Mojo House, Indea Vaher will be hosting an opening reception, with music by DJ Bodenhall and an exhibit in the mansion upper gallery by Troy Silverfall, artist in residence at the Mansion. Of Body, Spirit and Water will be up at the House until October 10, so TP yourself and your friends to SRM ART GALLERY AND MUSEUM, ZoHa Islands WW (25, 194, 21)http://slurl.com/secondlife/ZoHa%20Islands/25/194/21/
