Pay tribute to the sacrifices made by men of African descent to demonstrate their patriotism, in pursuit of freedom. Come learn about our current holiday's origins as Decoration Day and a commemoration of black Union veterans of the American Civil War, especially these most recently acknowledged, who finally have the resting place that they deserve.
